Técnico en Infraestructura DataOps

About the role

We are looking for a DataOps Infrastructure Technician to join our senior DataOps team. The role focuses on operating and maintaining on‑premise big‑data clusters, ensuring high availability, stability and performance of data services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain on‑premise distributed processing and storage clusters in high‑availability mode.
• Administer data‑service deployments on Kubernetes.
• Manage the platform lifecycle, including provisioning and de‑commissioning of clusters, nodes, applications and clients.
• Proactively provision capacity and conduct capacity analysis (CPU, memory, disk, concurrency).
• Detect, resolve and perform root‑cause analysis of incidents and problems.
• Apply platform changes (patches, upgrades, configuration) without disrupting running services.
• Define service‑specific observability, selecting relevant metrics and alerts.
• Automate deployments and operational tasks.
• Administer authentication and authorization across the data ecosystem.
• Document procedures and keep runbooks up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar infrastructure role.
• Technical or university education in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and exposure to big‑data infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting (Shell, Python) for automation and diagnostics.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to diagnose and resolve incidents.
• Proactive and autonomous, with a motivation to learn complex technologies.
• Good communication skills and habit of documenting procedures.
