Tech Lead (Sanity CMS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive Sanity CMS migration projects for our U.S. clients. The role is fully remote and will involve close collaboration with designers and engineers on the client’s team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and execution of large‑scale CMS migration initiatives, including content modeling, data mapping and transformation.
• Design and implement backend services, APIs and integration layers using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Collaborate daily with cross‑functional teams (product, content, engineering) to ensure seamless delivery.
• Define migration strategies, assess technical risks and guarantee data integrity throughout the process.
• Mentor and guide engineering team members, making key technical decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role, driving architecture decisions.
• Advanced English communication skills and a completed four‑year college degree.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Sanity CMS (schemas, APIs, migration tooling).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures and document‑based databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment workflows.
