Supervisor de Operaciones

About the role

GXO is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join its Uruguay team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities are accurately recorded and that service levels meet or exceed client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee that all physical movements (receipts, shipments, returns, transfers, etc.) are correctly reflected in the system.
• Respond to and follow up on operational issues that impact client service.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with a confidence level of 99.8%.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to define operational requirements and implement new strategies and initiatives.
• Monitor monthly metrics, generate operational reports, and participate in client result meetings.
• Prepare billing reports to support accurate client invoicing and collection.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience supervising operations in a distribution center.
• Strong knowledge of inbound and shipping processes.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
