About the role

Kaya Containers Uruguay is looking for a proactive Purchasing and Storekeeper Manager to oversee the procurement of materials, tools, and spare parts required for daily operations. The role is based on the Grupo Ras site in Canelones and involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the sourcing and supply of all materials, tools, and spare parts needed for production.
• Coordinate purchase orders with suppliers, request and analyze quotations, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and monitor inventory turnover.
• Oversee the store (pañol), recording all inbound and outbound movements and conducting regular inventory audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar purchasing or storekeeping role, preferably in logistics, maritime, construction, or related industries.
• Technical or university education in Logistics, Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and result‑oriented skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Required skills

• Knowledge of construction materials (preferred).
