SRE Support Analyst

About the role

As an SRE Support Analyst at Sparq, you will ensure the operational health of production application platforms. You will work closely with the SRE team, delivery managers, and technical stakeholders to monitor systems, respond to incidents, and support deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor AWS CloudWatch logs, APM dashboards, alert queues, and key production components during primary support hours.
• Review health of cloud infrastructure, APIs, containers, databases, storage and other AWS resources.
• Triage incidents and support tickets, follow runbooks, and escalate when necessary.
• Participate in a shared on‑call rotation using PagerDuty or similar tools.
• Use AI tools such as Claude to streamline tasks and share best practices.
• Support minor defect corrections in Java, React, and JavaScript code within the defined support scope.
• Coordinate production deployments and assist with CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
• Execute backup and recovery procedures during incident resolution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date troubleshooting documentation and collaborate with the SRE team for consistent coverage.

• Ability to follow documented procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work on‑call rotations and handle high‑severity incidents.
