About the role

Join Sparq as a Senior T-SQL Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex T‑SQL queries and stored procedures, ensuring robust database functionality and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex T‑SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Build and maintain characterization tests and automated database testing solutions using tSQLt or golden‑master approaches.
• Implement database replay harnesses with point‑in‑time restores and data masking for secure testing.
• Execute comprehensive test coverage, identify discrepancies, and validate expected outputs.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude to streamline tasks and integrate AI into daily workflows.
• Manage database backup, restoration, and data masking processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed automated testing into CI pipelines.
• Develop supporting test harness tools and automation utilities using .NET.
