About the role

Zone & Company Software Consulting is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the technical evolution of its AI‑native finance platform for NetSuite. You will shape high‑impact product modules that automate and scale financial workflows across global entities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver complex, high‑value features while ensuring scalability, observability, and compliance with NetSuite SuiteCloud constraints.
• Integrate AI workflows that enhance team throughput without sacrificing quality.
• Identify technical trade‑offs early to reduce long‑term complexity and maintenance overhead.
• Translate vague business requirements into staged, low‑risk execution plans.
• Build automated validation frameworks that verify AI‑generated and human‑written code against US GAAP and IFRS logic.
• Communicate technical debt and architectural decisions in clear business terms for stakeholders.
• Refactor fragile code paths and raise standards for code review and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading large‑scale software projects in finance or ERP domains.
• Strong ability to work with ambiguous requirements and turn them into concrete technical plans.
• Experience collaborating with product, architecture, and finance operations teams.
• Track record of delivering reliable, production‑grade systems that meet global financial standards.
