Senior Software Engineer – AI‑Native SaaS (Remote)

About the role

Process Street is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help shape its AI‑native SaaS platform. This remote position focuses on building and evolving backend and frontend systems while integrating AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve backend services using Scala, Play, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Design, implement, and scale APIs and AI‑assisted services.
• Own feature development from concept through production, including frontend work with React, Chakra UI, and Storybook.
• Develop and maintain agent‑driven development workflows leveraging Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and similar tools.
• Create internal tooling, prompts, and engineering systems to improve velocity and code quality.
• Optimize performance across the full stack and AI‑augmented pipelines.
• Define best practices for AI‑native software development and eventually lead a small engineering team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong background in backend development (Scala or comparable languages such as Java, Ruby, C#).
• Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products.
• Deep familiarity with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.).
