Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

LawnStarter is expanding its on‑demand home‑services platform and needs a proactive Senior Quality Engineer to raise the quality bar across multiple product verticals. You will own automation strategy, shape the bug‑handling process, and work closely with product, design, and data teams to catch issues before they reach customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and expand end‑to‑end (E2E) and integration test suites using Cypress.
• Set automation coverage strategy, prioritize gaps, and maintain high test reliability as the product evolves.
• Own the full bug lifecycle—from triage through production fix—keeping stakeholders informed.
• Partner with PMs, designers, and data engineers to review requirements, surface risks early, and define “done”.
• Identify and improve weaknesses in the software delivery process.
• Conduct exploratory testing on web and mobile across devices to catch issues automation misses.
• Explore and evaluate new testing tools and techniques to keep automation sharp.
