Senior Messaging Platform SRE

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Messaging Platform Site Reliability Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise messaging solutions such as IBM MQ and Amazon MQ in AWS environments. You will ensure high availability, scalability, and performance while collaborating with application and platform teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate IBM MQ and Amazon MQ platforms on AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Apply SRE practices to guarantee platform reliability and performance.
• Monitor systems, handle incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and lead post‑mortems.
• Operate Linux‑based environments, including performance tuning and system administration.
• Implement networking, replication, and multi‑datacenter design principles for resilient architectures.
• Manage SSL certificates and enforce secure communications.
• Support change management processes using tools such as ServiceNow.
• Drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 5+ years administering MQ platforms (IBM MQ, Amazon MQ).
• Experience designing and operating messaging platforms in AWS.
• Hands‑on Terraform expertise.
• Proven ability to build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong Linux system administration and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix required).
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to prioritize in dynamic environments.
