Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A (Contractor)

About the role

Compass is looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance Team. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and strategic analysis across the organization, working remotely for the Americas region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Support monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models for various projects.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information for analysis.
• Drive process improvement within the FP&A function and ensure consistency in reporting.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses and reports to support decision‑making.
• Deliver KPI dashboards and market performance analysis using non‑financial data.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
• Degree in Accounting.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Experience with Netsuite, Adaptive, and Power BI (preferred).
