Senior Automation Tester (JavaScript)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with strong JavaScript expertise to join an Agile product team that delivers customer‑facing web applications and APIs. You will work closely with developers and QA peers to build and maintain robust automated test suites that ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs.
• Enhance existing automation frameworks and utilities (WebDriverIO, Selenium, etc.).
• Create automated coverage for new features and regression scenarios.
• Execute functional and regression testing as part of the release cycle.
• Investigate test failures, collaborate with developers to identify root causes, and manage defects.
• Support integration of automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines and test‑management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and share automation best practices with the team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with modern automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO or Selenium.
• Experience in API testing and automation using Postman or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, test design and defect management.
• Experience with Git‑based source control, CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Familiarity with test‑management tools (qTest, TestRail) and cloud‑based execution platforms (LambdaTest).
• Experience testing authentication/authorization APIs and working in Agile teams.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
