Security System Technician III

About the role

The Security System Technician III will be embedded at our data‑center locations to provide on‑site technical support for physical security systems. The role focuses on maintaining system health, troubleshooting hardware, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with security hardware such as card readers, ACS controllers, remote door modules, request‑to‑exit devices, door position switches, cameras, encoders, fiber and POE converters, ICAM units and key‑boxes.
• Perform preventative maintenance on CCTV cameras, ensuring lenses are clean, focus is correct and fields of view cover critical areas.
• Create, update and close work tickets with detailed documentation of actions taken and future recommendations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of replacement parts and critical spares in coordination with global teams.
• Design, deploy and commission small‑scale installations, adhering to documented installation standards.
• Provide training on new security technologies to data‑center operations and local security teams.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a security systems technician.
• Minimum 2 years working with CCure hardware.
• Safety certifications: OSHA 10‑hour, CPR, aerial platform, ladder safety awareness.
• Industry certifications: CCure 9000 Installer/Maintainer, IP‑based CCTV training, Cisco Technician (preferred), Traka Keybox, SightLogix, IRIS ID/Alcatraz AI.
