Security Compliance Analyst

About the role

The Security Compliance Analyst will partner with the VP of Information Security & Compliance to drive customer assurance programs, manage security questionnaires, and support audits such as SOC 2, CMMC and NIST 800‑171. This hands‑on position requires technical self‑sufficiency and the ability to translate complex security controls into clear, defensible evidence.

Key responsibilities

• Complete customer security questionnaires, DDQs, RFP security sections and related reviews.
• Research technical questions and provide accurate answers based on the company’s environment and controls.
• Maintain a reusable library of approved questionnaire responses and supporting evidence.
• Participate in customer security calls for deeper technical or compliance discussions.
• Track findings, exceptions, remediation activities and control‑owner commitments through completion.
• Manage deadlines, report status and escalate issues as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT, security, GRC, compliance, cloud operations or systems administration.
• Strong understanding of common security concepts and audit evidence collection.
• Excellent spoken English and confidence presenting to U.S.-based customers, auditors and internal teams.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple questionnaires and deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience administering Windows environments.
• Experience with cloud‑based architectures (e.g., AWS).
• Systems administration or IT Tier 2 support background.
• Familiarity with identity platforms, endpoint‑management tools, GitHub and ticketing systems.
• Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell).
