Remote DevOps Manager

About the role

BairesDev, a technology company with more than 15 years of experience delivering solutions to large clients and startups, is looking for a DevOps Manager to join its Development team. The role supports projects built by multicultural teams spread around the world, administering and supporting the entire cloud-hosted project infrastructure and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments. It is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high service availability, performance, security and maintainability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Automate repetitive processes through scripting.
• Monitor and improve infrastructure security.
• Troubleshoot errors across software, hardware and cloud resources.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for existing and new processes and policies.
• Assess new cloud providers to be used.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as an SRE engineer or similar.
• 4+ years of experience as an infrastructure engineer or similar.
• Proven track record implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with different cloud providers.

Required skills

• Kubernetes (4+ years)
• CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog or New Relic
• Desirable: Ansible and IaC (e.g. Terraform), Bitbucket Pipelines
