React Native Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to join its growing remote team serving clients across Latin America. You will work on high‑quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android, turning UI/UX designs into performant, reusable code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize React Native mobile applications.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable components.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the apps.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory leaks.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in React Native development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of React hooks and state‑management solutions such as Redux or Context API.
• Experience with Android and iOS build processes, including Expo/EAS.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and REST APIs.
