QuickBooks Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QuickBooks Financial Controller to own and elevate our accounting function. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will manage the General Ledger, lead the transition to an in‑house finance team, and ensure accurate financial reporting for a luxury interior design firm.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and implement QuickBooks to match the company’s accounting structure.
• Lead the migration of the General Ledger from an external accounting firm to an internal team.
• Maintain, reconcile, and close the books on a monthly basis.
• Prepare financial statements, profit & loss reports, and cash‑flow analyses.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash positions.
• Support operational finance tasks beyond traditional accounting as needed.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with QuickBooks, including configuration and implementation.
• Strong background in General Ledger management and month‑end close.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1/C2 level).
• Willingness to overlap with U.S. business hours.
