QA Analyst

About the role

WPP Production is seeking a QA Analyst to define and execute the quality strategy for its web applications. You will ensure end‑to‑end excellence by designing test plans, coordinating automation, and managing release quality gates.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and strategies for complex software.
• Execute functional, integration, and end‑to‑end tests, maintaining traceability in Jira.
• Implement and coordinate automated and unit tests with development teams.
• Conduct load and performance testing, define objectives, and report key metrics.
• Perform compatibility and email rendering tests across multiple clients and devices, validating HTML/CSS using tools such as Litmus.
• Manage the defect lifecycle in Jira, including triage, severity classification, and verification of fixes.
• Define and oversee release quality gates, collaborating with PM and development on acceptance criteria and deployment preparation.
• Prepare periodic quality reports with metrics and continuous‑improvement recommendations.
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and training on QA best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in web‑application QA, covering functional, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
• Hands‑on experience with load and performance testing.
• Experience conducting cross‑client and device compatibility testing, including email rendering.
• Proficiency in using Jira for defect management and reporting.
