Part‑Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

About the role

This part‑time LVN position provides direct nursing care to residents of a long‑term care facility while supervising nursing assistants. The role ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and maintains the highest quality of care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing assistants, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update nursing service manuals, policies, and resident discharge plans.
• Prepare and submit reports, incident forms, charge slips, and daily census data.
• Participate in quality‑assurance programs, facility inspections, and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Facilitate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges as required.

Required profile

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
• Experience in long‑term care or similar nursing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local nursing regulations.
• Ability to supervise and mentor nursing assistants.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
