Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long‑term care facility and to supervise nursing assistants. The role ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations while maintaining high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents and oversee daily activities of nursing assistants.
• Ensure all nursing staff follow facility policies, procedures and the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Plan shift services, programs and activities in collaboration with nursing and support personnel.
• Prepare and submit reports, incident forms, resident charge slips and daily census reports.
• Participate in quality‑assurance programs, facility surveys and updates to resident discharge plans.
• Interpret policies for staff, residents, visitors and regulatory agencies.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.

Required profile

• Current LVN license in good standing.
• Experience supervising nursing assistants in a long‑term care setting.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local nursing regulations.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in nursing documentation and medical form completion.
