Operational Risk Analyst – 12 Month Contract

About the role

The Operational Risk Analyst will monitor, analyse and control key breaches across the Origination, Distribution and International Trade lifecycle processes. The role focuses on pre‑trade, trade capture and contract sub‑cycles for domestic and international trading activities in the Southern Cone region.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, report and support implementation of Trade Lifecycle Control (TLC) policy KRIs across regions and platforms.
• Drive process automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives with stakeholders.
• Provide oversight through front‑office and control tools and prepare monthly TLC dashboards and executive reports.
• Support development, implementation and enhancement of the Trade Management System (TMS) and lead migration of processes into TMS.
• Act as regional SME for TMS requirements and KRI analytics, coordinating analytics, exception reporting and write‑back functionality.
• Investigate control breaches, conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business and control functions across the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced studies in Economics, International Relations, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience in trading operations preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency; Portuguese considered an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data‑analytics solutions.
