Network Engineer - Palo Alto Specialist

About the role

OmniAccess is seeking a Network Engineer with deep expertise in LAN, WLAN and Palo Alto network security technologies to work directly in customer environments. You will design, deploy and maintain secure, high‑performance network infrastructures for maritime vessels, ensuring reliability across on‑premises and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement LAN and WLAN solutions tailored to maritime client needs.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls and related security services.
• Ensure network performance, availability and security across both on‑site and cloud environments.
• Provide proactive problem‑solving and technical support to clients on‑site and remotely.
• Document network designs, configurations and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate connectivity, cyber security and cloud services.

Required profile

• Strong background in LAN, WLAN and network security technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with the Palo Alto ecosystem.
• Ability to work directly with customers, building strong relationships.
• Proactive attitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
