Technical Product Support Engineer – Remote (Americas)

About the role

We are looking for a curious, technically‑minded problem solver to join Telnyx’s support team. You will troubleshoot complex customer issues across voice, messaging, APIs, IoT and AI products, working closely with engineering to resolve networking problems and debug integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex customer issues across networking, APIs and communications products.
• Investigate problems using tools such as Postman, cURL, Wireshark, sngrep and the Linux terminal.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and engineering teams to resolve cases.
• Automate repetitive tasks by building bots and workflow automations.
• Document solutions and improve self‑service resources.
• Continuously learn VoIP protocols, internal systems and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Background in Computer Science, IT, networking or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, IP addressing, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks and tools like Postman or cURL.
• Proficiency with the Linux terminal for navigating filesystems, reading logs and running commands.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and persistence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
