Licensed Vocational Nurse – Full Time

About the role

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide direct nursing care to residents in a long‑term care facility and supervise nursing assistants throughout each shift. This full‑time position ensures that all nursing activities comply with federal, state and local regulations while maintaining the highest quality of resident care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and monitor resident health status.
• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review discharge plans, admission, transfer and discharge documentation.
• Complete medical forms, incident reports, charge slips and daily census reports.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and facility inspections.
• Provide written and oral reports on shift activities to nursing leadership.

Required profile

• Current LVN license in good standing.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local nursing regulations.
• Experience in long‑term care or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
