Land Commission Specialist

About the role

The Land Commission Specialist will join Global Travel Collection’s accounting team to manage daily commission data and support financial operations across the travel network. This position focuses on accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of land commission payments for advisors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Deposit and reconcile checks and ACH payments.
• Review weekly unclaimed commissions and request missing booking details.
• Monitor commission requests and ensure timely responses.
• Allocate commission payments to the correct accounts, customers, and advisors.
• Post cash receipts to the appropriate division, account, and invoice.
• Balance daily cash receipt files against bank deposits, including wires, ACHs, checks, and credit cards.
• Communicate with vendors and advisors regarding short‑paid balances and unidentified payments.
• Validate daily deposits in GiaDocs and ensure proper export to Emagia CMS.
• Assist with other land functions and special projects as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in the travel industry.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinker with problem‑solving capabilities and ability to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Agresso, Travcom, NetSuite, GiaDocs, and Emagia CMS (preferred).
