IT Sourcing Manager – Strategic Procurement

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives across software, hardware and services. You will partner with IT, Finance, Legal and business leaders to align sourcing outcomes with corporate priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT sourcing strategies that maximize value and manage risk.
• Lead end‑to‑end RFx events: define scope, build tenders, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercial terms and present award recommendations.
• Utilise spend analytics, benchmarks and cost models to provide decision‑ready options with clear trade‑offs.
• Negotiate contracts in line with corporate standards to protect value and mitigate risk.
• Drive cross‑functional execution, anticipate impacts of changing requirements, cost targets, timelines and volumes.
• Manage a portfolio of sourcing projects, improve processes and promote best‑practice adoption across the Source‑to‑Contract lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of sourcing experience in the IT category.
• 3 + years in a large matrixed organization and 2 + years interacting with senior leadership (Director level or above).
• Proven track record of delivering multi‑million‑dollar savings and measurable value outcomes.
• Strong analytical capability, high EQ and ability to operate in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.
