IT Sourcing Manager

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Uruguay is looking for an IT Sourcing Manager to join its team supporting one of its global customers. The role suits an experienced sourcing professional who thrives in dynamic environments and manages complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal and business stakeholders to align sourcing outcomes with priorities and roadmaps.
• Build and execute IT sourcing strategies that maximize value, manage risk and support business objectives.
• Lead RFx events end-to-end, from scope definition and tender development through proposal evaluation, commercial negotiations, award recommendations and contract execution.
• Use spend analytics, benchmarks and cost models to provide decision-ready options and clear trade-offs.
• Negotiate and contract in line with corporate standards to mitigate risk and protect value.
• Manage a portfolio of sourcing projects and deadlines, driving process improvements across the Source-to-Contract lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in sourcing or related roles, with strong experience in the IT category.
• Proven IT sourcing experience across software, hardware and services, and managing multiple RFx events at once.
• Experience delivering measurable value and year-over-year savings through strategic sourcing.
• Preferred: experience in a large, matrixed organization and with senior leadership; degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of IT supplier markets, subcategories, leading vendors and industry trends.
