Implementation Project Manager (AI Adoption Program)

About the role

Nub8, an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner delivering cloud, development and AI solutions, is hiring an Implementation Project Manager for its delivery team in Uruguay. The role supports a national-scale AI adoption program for small and medium businesses. It is not a traditional professional-services PM role: you will run a pipeline of dozens of short, standardized implementations per month, coordinating the technical team without managing it, keeping the board informed and improving the process after each cohort.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical teams that do not report to you: set priorities, assign work, remove blockers and keep delivery on schedule.
• Keep every implementation tracked and up to date, flag delays early and maintain a project board used by the whole team.
• Manage the full implementation pipeline: plan team capacity, identify bottlenecks and adjust the process so the flow keeps moving.
• Explain status, risks and next steps clearly to technical teams and non-technical business owners.
• Work remotely from Montevideo, with periodic in-person activities and an async-first, distributed team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years in project coordination, implementation, customer onboarding or operations, managing many workstreams at once.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical teams without authority.
• Strong planning, follow-up and systems-thinking skills.
• Native or fluent Spanish; B2+ English for meetings with AWS and international teams and documentation.

Required skills

• Advanced use of project-management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday or Notion.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
• Nice to have: PMP, CAPM, Scrum, Lean training; experience with SMBs, AI, cloud or digital transformation; experience building processes while doing work; consulting or multi-client experience.
