IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

We are building a talent pool of qualified IT Office Support Consultants to serve our offices across the Caribbean, Central and South America. Selected candidates will be called upon to provide end‑user IT assistance, maintain workstations and support the rollout of new technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site IT support to IDB personnel, covering hardware, software, connectivity and training needs.
• Provision, configure and manage standard workstations throughout their lifecycle in line with corporate policies.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment and ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with the upkeep of networking, telecommunications, security systems and coordinate with local service providers.
• Collaborate on new IT projects, acting as a liaison between local teams and central IT groups.
• Document incidents, service requests and updates in ticketing systems and related dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support or related customer‑service roles.
• Proficiency in English and one official Bank language (Spanish, French or Portuguese).
• Familiarity with AI and generative AI concepts and their ethical use is a plus.
