Intelligent Logistics Engineer

About the role

HELI, a leading global manufacturer of industrial forklifts, is seeking an Intelligent Logistics Engineer to support the rollout of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) and intelligent warehousing solutions across South America. Based in Zonamerica, the role bridges customers, local operations, and engineering teams in China.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver localized technical presentations on AGV and intelligent warehousing solutions to manufacturing, logistics, and industrial clients.
• Conduct on‑site surveys, collecting data on dimensions, floor load, workflows, layouts, environmental conditions and special requirements.
• Collaborate with Chinese engineering teams to design AGV projects, including equipment selection, path planning, layout design, schedules and budgets.
• Prepare layout plans, path diagrams and technical proposal drawings using CAD software.
• Support AGV commissioning, deployment, testing and on‑site troubleshooting.
• Travel across South America for short‑term business trips as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• Fluent English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong technical aptitude for site surveys, proposal preparation and project support.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Collaborative mindset for cross‑functional and international teamwork.
• Prior experience with AGV, robotics, warehouse or industrial automation projects is highly valued.
