Bunker Operator

About the role

The candidate will provide trader support for physical bunkering operations, including the scheduling and operations of the TFG bunker fleet and contract execution. This role ensures smooth contract execution and compliance with international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end bunker schedule programme (purchases and sales) and manage post‑deal trading activities.
• Maintain communications with TFG suppliers, port agents, inspectors, customs and clients.
• Support voyage planning for the bunker fleet, monitor vessel performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct daily stock progression analysis and blend marine fuel grades to meet contract specifications.
• Manage vessel clearances and ensure compliance with local customs regulations.
• Keep stakeholders updated with operational data and maintain accurate company systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the maritime or shipping industry.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) and native‑level Spanish (C2).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar trading, logistics or vessel‑operations role.
• Strong communication, decision‑making and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multinational environment and handle pressure.
