Infrastructure Engineer (Infra Engineering)

About the role

Deel is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join its Infra Engineering team. In this individual‑contributor role you will help design, build, and operate the internal platform services that power the daily work of hundreds of Deel engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core platform components such as feature‑flagging, file storage, database migration pipelines and data‑integrity tooling.
• Own a platform service end‑to‑end, from design through production deployment and ongoing operation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on high‑visibility projects that impact the broader engineering organization.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, design robust solutions, ship them quickly, and iterate as priorities evolve.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping production services in a fast‑moving environment.
• Comfortable taking full ownership of a platform component rather than just handling tickets.
• Ability to thrive in a hyper‑growth SaaS company where priorities shift rapidly.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
