HR Generalist (On Site – Montevideo)

About the role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our Montevideo office and support daily People operations. You will act as the primary point of contact for HR matters, ensuring a healthy work environment and smooth administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and promote company policies that foster a positive workplace.
• Monitor compensation, benefits, and time‑keeping data for all employees.
• Organise training and development initiatives.
• Conduct onboarding and manage employee requests and grievances promptly.
• Maintain HR procedures in line with local labour regulations.
• Keep employee files and records up‑to‑date in both electronic and paper formats.
• Perform receptionist duties when needed.
• Oversee general office tasks such as maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, budgeting, shopping, logistics and coordination.
• Adapt to additional duties outside the core HR scope as required.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR administrative roles.
• Strong attention to detail and quality‑focused work ethic.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Full‑time, onsite availability and residence in Montevideo, Uruguay.
