Functional ERP Analyst – Business & IT Liaison

About the role

We are looking for a Functional ERP Analyst to work onsite in Montevideo. The professional will act as the bridge between business units and the IT department, ensuring that operational processes are accurately captured and reflected in the ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business areas and IT, deeply understanding operational processes and functional needs.
• Gather functional requirements through interviews, meetings, and process analysis.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications for the development team.
• Provide functional support and ongoing maintenance for the ERP system.
• Participate in ERP (MS Dynamics AX) implementations and functional enhancements.
• Collaborate on the creation of reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Execute basic SQL queries to validate or complement process analyses.

Required profile

• Graduate or advanced student in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst with a focus on business processes and acting as a liaison between business and IT (mandatory).
• Experience gathering functional requirements and working with IT teams on solution implementation.
• Knowledge of functional maintenance and ERP implementation.
• Formal, proactive, solution‑oriented with strong business vision and communication skills for non‑technical users.
