Full Stack .NET Developer – Data Integrations

About the role

Descartes is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to join its Data Integrations team. You will design, build, and maintain applications that ingest, validate, transform, and manage high‑volume product data for our logistics‑focused customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and functions in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Build full‑stack applications using .NET (C#), Entity Framework, LINQ, and ADO.NET.
• Design and maintain high‑throughput transactional processing systems.
• Implement solutions with Git, Windows Worker Service, Dependency Injection, unit testing, and Azure services.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Create REST APIs and scalable SaaS components.
• Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and utilities.
• Automate processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Optimize queries, stored procedures, and data models for performance and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of professional .NET (C#) development experience.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with FTP and data‑transfer formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV.
• Familiarity with web APIs, data processing pipelines, and internal tooling.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, security encryption, and B2B communication layers.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of regulatory or trade‑data ETL pipelines.
