Full Stack Lead – Java, Python, AWS (Remote)

About the role

Altimetrik is seeking an experienced Full Stack Lead to design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications and APIs using modern cloud‑native architectures. The role is remote, aligned with US Central Time, and involves leading full‑stack initiatives across backend services, integrations and AWS cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise‑grade applications and REST APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
• Lead full‑stack development, including microservices architecture, cloud‑native solutions on AWS, and CI/CD automation.
• Mentor engineering teams, enforce best practices, and guide technical design decisions.
• Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
• Support production releases, troubleshoot issues and optimise performance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven technical leadership experience (Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, etc.).
• Advanced English communication skills (B2/C1).
• Experience working remotely with teams across time zones.
