Finance Business Partner – Montevideo

About the role

SKF is looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the business units and senior management in Montevideo. You will provide financial analysis, reporting and budgeting to enable strategic decisions and ensure compliance with group guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare short‑, medium‑ and long‑term budgets for the parent company, supporting efficiency and cost‑reduction targets.
• Execute the monthly internal reporting close in line with SKF standards.
• Control and analyse productive and non‑productive costs, validating transfer pricing for imported products.
• Report and manage inventories, investments and assets, aligning working capital with corporate objectives.
• Advise management on business feasibility studies (make/buy, insourcing/outsourcing) and act as the site’s Controlling function.
• Represent Finance in Uruguay, handling documentation, banking procedures and tax obligations.
• Coordinate with the Finance Shared Service Center to ensure accurate execution of finance processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Public Accounting; basic tax knowledge is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling roles.
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, teamwork orientation and results focus.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Montevideo, Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm.

• ERP experience, preferably SAP
