Engineering Manager – Frontend Consumer

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Engineering Manager to lead a cross‑functional Consumer pod that builds and scales the core Krak experiences. You will guide both frontend (React / React Native) and backend (Rust) engineers to deliver seamless, high‑performance user experiences for a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of frontend and backend engineers responsible for core consumer features.
• Own end‑to‑end UX for key Krak functionalities across mobile and client platforms.
• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to define and ship high‑impact features.
• Collaborate with other Engineering Managers to maintain consistent engineering standards.
• Champion engineering excellence, maintainable architecture, and code quality.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical growth and inclusivity.
• Drive agile processes, project tracking, and engineering metrics such as DORA and cycle time.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams delivering customer‑facing products at scale.
• Experience managing combined frontend and backend engineering groups.
• Strong cross‑functional leadership with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Empathy for customers and a passion for intuitive, performant consumer experiences.
