DevOps Engineer (Azure & On-Premise) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based assignments. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters on Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Design, build, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, including networking, storage, and security configurations.
• Support on‑premise data‑center operations, virtualization (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V) and physical infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Zabbix, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
• Ensure security hardening, integrate SIEM tools (Wazuh) and vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster recovery, manage automated backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier), and troubleshoot complex issues.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record of managing production Kubernetes environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams on large, complex systems.
