Data Engineer (Databricks & Microsoft Fabric) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev is looking for a Data Engineer to build a modern lakehouse platform that powers analytics across the business. The role connects scalable data processing with unified data experiences and is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable data pipelines that ingest, clean and transform large datasets.
• Architect lakehouse layers that organize data for analytics and machine learning.
• Orchestrate workflows and dependencies so data is delivered on schedule.
• Improve pipeline reliability through testing, logging and alerting.
• Apply governance and security practices to protect sensitive data.
• Collaborate with BI and data science teams to enable self-service analytics.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proven expertise building and optimizing data workloads on Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including its lakehouse and pipeline capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
