API Test Automation Engineer (Playwright) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ people, is hiring an API Test Automation Engineer (Playwright). You will design and implement test automation frameworks focused on API functionality and performance, validating the backend interfaces that connect the company's core applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated testing frameworks for API endpoints.
• Develop and run test scripts that validate API data integrity, security and response metrics.
• Integrate automated API test suites into CI/CD workflows.
• Work with developers and QA teams to find interface defects early.
• Analyse test results, keep documentation and track technical issues until resolved.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation engineering with a focus on API testing.
• Proven experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks with Playwright.
• Strong understanding of API testing methods, tools and integration workflows.
• Advanced English proficiency.
