Data Consultant

About the role

The Data Consultant will lead customer data discovery, assessment and migration activities for ERP implementations. You will work closely with customers, functional consultants and data engineering teams to ensure data is accurately mapped, transformed and validated for a successful NetSuite or other ERP go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery workshops to understand legacy ERP data structures, business processes and migration goals.
• Assess source systems, identify data quality issues and define migration scope, priorities and success criteria.
• Analyze legacy data, create functional data mapping specifications and define business rules for transformation, cleansing and validation.
• Partner with data engineering to align technical migration activities with business requirements.
• Validate migration outputs, coordinate customer reviews, support reconciliation and post‑go‑live verification.
• Advise customers on data governance, master data management and long‑term data maintenance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers and technical services to deliver high‑quality implementations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with ERP systems, data migration or ERP consulting.
• Proven track record of analyzing and preparing data for ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of ERP data structures, master and transactional data.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
