Crypto Trading & Operations Analyst (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

A US-based client, a global technology and digital asset liquidity provider, is hiring a Crypto Trading & Operations Analyst (Junior Trader) to run the trading desk during evenings and weekends. The position is 100% remote for candidates living in Latin America, Monday to Friday from 5 pm to midnight ET, plus one weekend shift per month.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact in client trade chats (Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp) and monitor stablecoin pricing across liquidity providers and exchanges to execute client trades on the proprietary back-office platform.
• Initiate and approve outgoing client payments (fiat bank transfers and Fireblocks digital asset transfers) under dual control, send transaction hashes and confirmations, carry out chain swaps, and whitelist new client wallets and bank accounts.
• Settle with liquidity providers, move funds between accounts, market makers and exchanges, top up automated flow wallets and settle with FX providers.
• Hedge all stablecoin positions and close them out at the end of each shift.
• Investigate alerts, resolve issues and hand over an end-of-shift summary of open positions, pending transfers and outstanding client requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1-3 years of experience in trading, trading operations or a related field, with hands-on experience on a trading desk or in a trading operations environment in the cryptocurrency or digital asset industry.
• Experience with Fireblocks; experience in a crypto exchange, OTC desk, market maker or digital asset payments company is highly preferred.
• Background in data science or statistics (machine learning, time-series analysis, NLP) is a plus.
