CPA / Enrolled Agent – Tax Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented CPA or Enrolled Agent to join our tax and finance team. The role focuses on collecting, organizing, and analyzing tax‑related data to support preparation, compliance, reporting, and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and compile financial data from client forms, internal systems, statements, and third‑party reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and tax implications, and develop strategies to optimize client outcomes.
• Assist and oversee tax return preparation by providing accurate, well‑organized data and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform regular audits, maintain data quality controls, and identify improvements for internal controls and processes.
• Generate comprehensive reports summarizing tax data analysis for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• IRS PTIN obtained and pass a background check.
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in tax or finance.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to serve people and work collaboratively with tax professionals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SQL or similar data query tools.
• Familiarity with tax software and ERP systems.
