Payment Processor

About the role

Syngenta’s Invoice to Pay team is seeking a Payment Processor to join its Montevideo office. The role ensures accurate and compliant processing of payments, supporting both local and global finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute payment runs following established procedures and internal controls.
• Perform manual payments via banking portals for taxes, government entities, and international transactions, obtaining necessary approvals.
• Record all manual payment activities in the local ERP system.
• Collaborate with Treasury, O2C, A2R, and Tax functions to improve payment deliverables.
• Support regional and global I2P projects through testing and validation.
• Assist internal and external audits and address identified findings promptly.
• Conduct bank reconciliations for all I2P accounts and propose action plans for open items.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant, graduate, or advanced student in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
