Community & Events Associate

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, relationship‑oriented Community & Events Associate to shape the daily experience of a large, highly engaged founder community. This remote, full‑time independent contractor role blends community management, content creation, communications, and event coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the community content and communications calendar, deciding what, when, and why to send.
• Create, edit, and send email campaigns, managing audience segments and tracking performance.
• Coordinate virtual and occasional in‑person events from planning through execution, handling registration, logistics, and speaker management.
• Engage with daily community conversations, identify themes, moderate discussions, and connect members.

Required profile

• Excellent written English with a natural, clear, professional tone.
• Strong attention to detail, catching errors before publication.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple deadlines and projects independently.
• Proactive, relationship‑oriented, comfortable communicating with founders and senior professionals.

Required skills

• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Customer.io, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot or similar.
• Familiarity with event management tools like Luma.
• Proficiency in collaboration tools: Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, WhatsApp.
• Comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for drafting, summarizing, and research.
