About the role

We are looking for a motivated cook to join our kitchen in Carmelo, Colonia. The successful candidate will prepare lunch dishes, tasting menus and a variety of gastronomic options while supporting the overall culinary experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and plate dishes for lunch service and tasting events.
• Assemble cold and hot food boards and diverse culinary presentations.
• Organise ingredients and supplies required for each service.
• Maintain cleanliness, order and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Control inventory, monitor stock levels and manage food waste.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and proper food handling.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Own transportation to reach the workplace.
• Formal culinary training (preferred).
• Valid food‑handling certificate and health card.
• Responsible, reliable, punctual, organized, with initiative and autonomy.
