Cloud Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to join a fast‑paced technology client on a 6‑month contract. The role focuses on designing, building, and operating hybrid cloud networking solutions on Google Cloud while integrating with on‑premise and Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage hybrid networking environments that connect Google Cloud with on‑premise infrastructure.
• Build and maintain Google Cloud networking resources such as VPCs, VPNs, Interconnect, Load Balancers, and Firewall Policies.
• Develop, maintain, and refactor JSON‑driven Terraform modules for infrastructure as code.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Design secure, scalable networking architectures and improve overall system reliability.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Google Cloud networking.
• Good understanding of Azure networking, especially Virtual Networks (VNets).
• Advanced Terraform expertise, including reusable module creation.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
