Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will join Marvik’s executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board of Directors. In this hands‑on position you will shape the company’s financial strategy while overseeing day‑to‑day finance operations in a fast‑growing AI and machine‑learning consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across the organization.
• Own the economics of Marvik’s professional‑services model and drive profitability.
• Manage relationships with existing and prospective investors and represent the company during diligence processes.
• Oversee accounting, financial controls and reporting infrastructure in multiple jurisdictions, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Advise the CEO and Board on capital structure, valuation and strategic financial decisions.
• Scale finance and accounting functions as the business expands, leveraging AI to automate reporting, close and forecasting.
• Support corporate development and M&A activities.

Required profile

• Previous CFO or senior finance leadership experience at a technology or professional‑services company.
• Experience working directly with private‑equity investors.
• US exposure or education, or a career built with US‑focused companies.
• CPA and/or MBA qualification.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, multi‑country accounting, transfer pricing and multi‑currency operations.
• Comfort operating in a lean, high‑growth environment with a hands‑on approach.
• Excellent communication skills for Board and investor interactions.
