Chef Ejecutivo – Liderazgo de Operación Gastronómica

About the role

Delishop is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the full spectrum of its gastronomic production plant in Montevideo. The role combines culinary expertise with operational leadership, overseeing everything from menu creation to supply chain management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all gastronomic operations.
• Lead and develop heads of Kitchen, Storage/Stock, and Packaging.
• Manage menu development, product lines, and recipe standardization.
• Coordinate purchasing, supply, and supplier relationships.
• Supervise inventories, cost control, yields, and waste reduction.
• Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (BPM).
• Analyze performance indicators and drive continuous process and productivity improvements.
• Serve as the primary culinary liaison to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑volume professional kitchens or food production plants.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, inventory control, procurement, and supplier management.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and BPM.
• Experience in catering, large‑scale food services, or standardized gastronomic production is a plus.
